The hotel was bustling as excited friends and family were getting ready for the big day. Liya lived up to her middle name, Joy, as she danced around the suite and couldn’t help but show off her beautiful smile. Jeffrey suited up, complete with Spiderman cuff links and socks. The two chose a superhero theme, which appeared in subtle ways throughout the day. (All of the groomsmen also wore superhero t-shirts underneath their wedding attire!)
First, the families shuttled to another hotel to pray over Liya and Jeffrey individually. Then, the ceremony took place at the breathtaking Catholic church, Queen of All Saints Basilica.
The reception was held at the newly renovated, Skokie Banquet and Conference Center. Before the guests arrived, our coordinator, Alena brought all of the finishing touches together. The whole night was filled with special speeches, family traditions, music and dancing. Jeffrey even surprised Liya by joining in on a dance with the cousins.
Overall, it was a beautiful wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier for Liya and Jeffrey!
